Wonobo  Street-view

              Wonobo is a service launched on 15th October by Genesys International. It's kind of walk -through inside the cities. They have captured several images of streets across various cities in India, combining them together to create 360-degree views of the streets very much same as Google sitemap for other countries.  Many companies including google tried to do this but they were unable to get permission for indian authorities. 

               This service will cover 54 cities. Initially 12 cities will be in the launch, and will be spread out to 20 more in a few weeks. In This 10 million points of interest were tagged, across cities and They also created homepages for them,  4.5 million are commercial places were tagged so that business address of company can easily be finned out by user. street view includes following features too. This technology will help tourist to find places and thus the growth of indian tourism will significantly increase. for street view of any particular area or city you just have to enter the name of city or area name on the website: http://www.wonobo.com/
