ISO
Today we all are using products related to food, computers, healthcare, agriculture and many others. One or the other way we are related to ISO. So here is some brief about what ISO is.
ISO (International Organization for Standardization) was founded in 1947. Today 164 countries and 3368 technical bodies are members of ISO. ISO has published more than 19,500 International Standards (not possible to mention all) which covers almost all aspects of technology and business. From food safety to computers, and agriculture to healthcare. ISO ensure that products and services are safe, reliable and of good quality. For business, The product with ISO mark ensures that device will reduce costs by minimizing waste and errors and increasing productivity.An ISO standard is developed by a team of experts, and then launched after the approval of current active ISO members.
ISO is publishing magazine named ISOfocus, which provides all of the latest news of standards and features. ISO is providing it at no cost(only soft copy).
