LG officially launched G Flex smartphone with curved display in Korea.The main feature of this smartphone is its 6” 720p OLED unit curved display it's claimed to be the world's largest Plastic OLED display. which is ultra-light, ultra-thin and flexible.  It's curved display in landscape mode is more suitable and entertaining when watching videos and playing video games. Another feature of it's display is that it is built on plastic substrates instead of glass, it increases durability of phone. Another feature of the device is self-healing film on its back which can overcome minor scratches in a matter of minutes.

The LG G Flex is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 SoC (system on chip) with 2.26GHz quad-core CPU. it has 2GB of RAM, 32GB of built-in memory, and 13MP camera.The G Flex will offer LTE-A, LTE, HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.0, USB 3.0, Wi-Fi and NFC (near field communication) connectivity.. It will have Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean os.

This smart phone has many other user interfaces like quick youtube access, gmail access, face detection any many others which facilitates the use of this smartphone in a more easy way, It is perfectly true that LG G flex will give a good competition to samsung galaxy round.                  Recent news about Logitech is they are working on  game controller supported for iphone and it will be named as 'powershell'. Though it is not officially declared by logitech. At the time of detailed discussion of ios7 in sanfransico, apple gave brief introduction about support for gaming controllers.

              As you can clearly see in above picture, This game controller contains slot in which you can fit iphone. This game controller is connected in such a way that it can communicate with the processor to control applications running in iphone. The controller includes shoulder buttons, a d-pad direction controller on the left and action buttons and a pause key on the right. Tegra

         


     Tegra is a system on a chip series developed by Nvidia for mobile devices. The Tegra is an integration of an ARM CPU, graphics processing unit (GPU) and memory controller. The Tegra series is famous for low power consumption and high performance. 

           The first version of Tegra was Tegra APX 2500 which was announced on February 12, 2008. which had ARM11 600 MHz CPU. The second version was Tegra 600 which had ARM11 700 MHz CPU and third version. and third version was Tegra 650 which had ARM11 800 MHz CPU and low power DDR memory. The third and fourth were Tegra 2 and Tegra 3  which had a dual-core and Quad core ARM Cortex-A9 CPU with ARMv7 inst. set  respectively.

            The recent versions of tegra are Tegra 4 ( 6 January 2013 ) which had ARM Cortex-A15 and Tegra 4i (19 February 2013)  had ARM Cortex-A9 r4. And increased clock rate of 4i over 4 here is a screenshot of tegra 4 and tegra 4i specifications.

             MHL (Mobile High-Definition Link) is a standard for a mobile audio/video interface that allows consumers to connect mobile phones, tablets and other portable consumer electronics devices to TV and audio receivers. TV should be high definition supported. iPad Air

              In san fransisco tuesday 22 oct. Apple inc. launched Ipad Air. Apple claimed that It is the thinnest and less weighted device in the series of tablets launched in the world till today. IPad air's size is 9.7 inch and it's thickness is 0.3 inch and it's weight is 0.45 kg.(1 pound approx.) iPad Air consist of the A7 chip and the M7 motion co-processor that was introduced with the iPhone 5S.

            ipad air will be available from November 1. Space It will be in Grey and Silver colours and prices will be $499, $599, $699 and $799 for the 16GB, 32GB, 64GB and 128GB Wi-Fi models respectively. The Wi-Fi and 4G models will cost another $130 over and above that in case of each model.

DLNA

The Digital Living Network Alliance is a trade-association, which was established by Sony in 2003. Latest survey shows that As of 2011, over 250 companies are part of this organization and As of February 2013, over 18,000 different device models have obtained "DLNA Certified"  it confirms their interoperability with other devices. The basic idea behind the DLNA association is to develop standards and technologies that make it possible that several devices at home interact. An example might be a television, that can be used to play a film on a computer, or to show photos stored on a mobile phone.

DLNA uses Universal Plug and Play (UPnP) for media management, discovery and control.  UPnP defines the type of device that DLNA supports and the mechanisms for accessing media over a network.

              Wonobo is a service launched on 15th October by Genesys International. It's kind of walk -through inside the cities. They have captured several images of streets across various cities in India, combining them together to create 360-degree views of the streets very much same as Google sitemap for other countries.  Many companies including google tried to do this but they were unable to get permission for indian authorities. 

               This service will cover 54 cities. Initially 12 cities will be in the launch, and will be spread out to 20 more in a few weeks. In This 10 million points of interest were tagged, across cities and They also created homepages for them,  4.5 million are commercial places were tagged so that business address of company can easily be finned out by user. street view includes following features too.
